This Shiraz is a classic rich and flavoursome style with subtle French oak complexity. The wine displays pepper, spice and layers of ripe berry / plum fruit flavours, while the fine tannins give the wine structure and length. Medium to full bodied style. Deep red/purple in colour with a vibrant crimson hue. An intense bouquet of plum and spice with supporting oak.
Drinking well now or will further develop with medium term cellaring, 5-10 years.
Food Suggestions: Red meat dishes, pizza, pasta’s and mature cheese.

A challenging year marked by heat spikes and a cooler spell of wet weather. Nevertheless, these characteristics serve as a tattoo of immense drinkability, imbuing structural gristle, a lighter shade of red scented fruit and a passage of herbal inflected tannins, bright and invigorating. The sign of a good winemaker and site is just how well the wines carry across vintages such as these. And this carries very well 93 Points
