The La Perouse is a French style red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon 65% and Merlot 35%.
The wine displays a delightfully rounded palate offering a generous mix of red and blue fruits balanced by fine, silky, tannins. With 14 months of gentle French oak barrel maturation the palate is well structure, complexity and long. Deep red in colour with a bright red hue. A fragrant bouquet of black and red currants with spice and cedary notes.
Excellent drinking now or will further develop with careful cellaring up to 10 years.
A very versatile wine which is suited to many types of cuisine including red meats, game and cheese.

A traditional Bordeaux blend of Cabernet and Merlot, apt for the name. Organically grown as with all the fruit for this value tier, the Cab bakes a doughnut of structure; the Merlot, a plummy dollop of fruit in the middle. Good value drinking 91 Points
